FAQ
What is CAGR?
Compound annual growth rate. CAGR = (end / start)^(1 / years) − 1. It is the constant yearly rate that takes start to end.
Is this the same as compound interest?
Related math, different question. Compound interest grows a lump sum at a known rate. CAGR backs out the rate from two values and a tenure.
Does this include extra deposits?
No. It assumes one start value and one end value. Use the SIP calculator for recurring amounts.
